Built from real, official data
Every element on the map comes from public, authoritative sources, not from an existing map:
- Viñedos Singulares: the official recognition orders published in Spain’s Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE), 2019 to September 2026. Each single vineyard is placed on its registered SIGPAC (Spanish land register) parcel.
- Zone and village boundaries: official municipal limits from the Instituto Geográfico Nacional (IGN), grouped according to the DOCa regulations.
- Relief, rivers and altitudes: the IGN’s 25 m digital terrain model (MDT25).
- Key figures: annual reports and statistics of the Consejo Regulador DOCa Rioja.
The terroirs shown have no official boundaries and are indicative. The selection of leading villages is editorial.
All editions: Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa & Rioja Oriental · relief, rivers and sierras · Viñedos Singulares as of September 2026 · premium matte paper.
